On Election Day, Election Officers welcome all voters, facilitate voting, conduct precinct operations in accordance with election law and follow defined procedures. Many people find it a rewarding experience and return year after year to serve. Election Officer Pin Collection

 

One of the traditions established in 1998 by the San Mateo County Elections Office is to give every Election Officer that serves in an election a commemorative election pin. Each election has its own distinctive pin.  Some of our Election Officers have earned the entire collection (see the collection). If you would like to serve as a Election Officer, you can sign up online. We need the help. You can serve the community and build your own election pin collection.
