Voters must register by Monday to vote in June

San Mateo County residents who want to vote in the June 3 primary must register with the county elections office by Monday.

In order to be eligible to register a person must be at least 18-years-old, a U.S. citizen, a San Mateo County resident, and not be in prison or on parole for a felony conviction.

Residents who wish to re-register due to a change of name, address or political affiliation must also fill out and file the proper paperwork by Monday.

Voter registration cards can be obtained from the elections office, as well as any public library, city hall, post office or Department of Motor Vehicles.
